Geminus Corporation invites the submission of sealed bids from qualified food service management companies for the preparation and delivery of meals to its schools.
The Geminus Head Start program serves children in a preschool setting. Prospective bidders must be capable of providing breakfast, lunch, and PM snack for approximately 500 3-5-year-olds and 24 adults, up to 5 days a week for 128 days per year for separate preschool locations throughout Lake and Porter counties.
Meals must comply with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program meal patterns. Types of meals requested include hot and cold bulk, in addition to occasional cold bag. The contract period begins September 7, 2020 and ends July 31, 2021.
All bids must be sealed and received no later than July 30, 2020 by 12:00 p.m. at: Geminus Corporation, 8400 Louisiana Street, Merrillville, IN 46410 at which time they will be opened, read, and recorded.
