Meet Geminus. We provide social services to children and families, including early childhood education, family services and preventative programs in Northwest and Northern Indiana. Through partnerships with community-based health care providers, social service organizations and early childhood education programs, we help Hoosiers access high-quality and affordable programs that support whole-person care—all toward our goal of building resilient communities.
Geminus addresses the emerging needs of area families. Our main goal is to build resiliency across generations while providing comprehensive care that supports our clients’ well-being.
Early childhood education is a vital precursor to success in school—and beyond. Geminus connects your family to a variety of services, including Head Start. We also provide assistance to childcare providers, helping ensure that families have access to quality care.
Geminus supports families across generations through a variety of family service programs. Every year, family service programs at Geminus reach thousands of Hoosiers and provide critical social service resources to support children and families. Our family service programs help strengthen families, reduce domestic violence and more.
Geminus prevention services is focused on promoting mental health and reducing substance misuse. We use evidence-based strategies to educate youth, adults, agencies and communities across the state about reducing or preventing the use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs.
Geminus also facilitates mental health and substance misuse coalitions such as the Northwest Indiana Suicide Prevention Council and SAFE for Lake County.
