The information includes sections for those wishing to start a child care, those wanting to keep up on trends and safety issues, and a section for parents. The information is presented in an easy to read format and the site is easily navigated. Much of the information is also available in Spanish. Child Care MedlinePlus This site, created by MedlinePlus, includes a wide variety of articles and links, in categories including general overview of childcare, related issues, financial issues, organizations, law and policy, statistics, and special sections for children, teens and men. The site is easy to navigate and the information is thorough, yet easy to understand. Eat Smart. Play Hard. Collection USDA This USDA campaign is about practical suggestions that will help parents, teachers and professionals motivate children and their caregivers to eat healthy and be active. The site contains a collection of animated emoticons and e-cards for kids and parents, as well as videos, songs, public service announcements and campaign materials for professionals. The site is easy to navigate and created in a fun, eye-pleasing way. The materials are avaiable in English and Spanish. Fatherhood Initiative US Department of Health and Human Services The Department of Health and Human Services has developed a special initiative to support and strengthen the roles of fathers in families. Information on this site includes topics such as Fathers and Children's health, caring for your child, a toolkit for fatherhood, and links to many other resources.
